Dear Ones, Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was rather quiet as my foot seems to get bigger and bluer  and I had to do church online. Tomorrow we go back to the wound specialist, and Al will be doing my dressings as the nurse observes and gives help. I give him many points for that!
Devotions from Judy’s heart
All of us need faith to believe in God, for even though we can’t physically see Him, we can fully trust Him. It says in Hebrews 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.” We grow in faith as we listen to Him and obey him, and often wait in patience for what we can’t yet see.

The enemy wants to steal from us and lie against the truth of God’s Word. He will tell us God doesn’t love us, that we are no good, that others don’t care for us, etc. Don’t believe Him, but go to the Word and accept what the Lord says about us. We are His beloved, His friend, the apple of His eye, the crown of His creation, etc. and He rejoices over us. 1 John 3:1 says, “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God, and so we are.” Forget what the enemy says; may we live like His beloved children.

Let us be done with striving, and instead live in confident trust that we are His. We live in grace, and it isn’t what we do but what He does for us and has done for us. He wants us to give Him all of our cares and let Him carry them. Then we can enjoy the present moment with peace, for all is in His hands. He can do the impossible, and we can believe that He will also give us all we need to do His will in our lives. He has a wonderful plan for each of us, so let us not mess it up with unbelief or jumping in and doing it ourselves, our way. Let us believe and trust the One who is so loving, so trustworthy,

Challenge for today: Sing or pray the words of the song: “When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, what a glory He sheds on our way. When we do His good will, He abides with us still and with all who will trust and obey. Trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.”
Blessings on your week and thank you for your prayers and sending love, Judy
